Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model installed. MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode. ECC memory is only supported on Intel Xeon processors and they can not use modules with x16 components (i.e. KCP4xxNS6/x). Mixing ECC and non-ECC modules is not recommended. Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3 processors require ONLY non-ECC modules.
