Swift

The Acer Swift series is a line of thin and lightweight laptops designed for portability and performance, with models like the Swift 1, Swift 3, Swift 5, Swift Go, and Swift Edge, each with varying features and specifications. Not all the Swifts can be upgraded. Some came with soldered RAM but nearly all the notebooks had replaceable SSD drives. Please check your model first before purchasing.

Questions you might have before you buy
Can my Acer Swift be upgraded with more RAM?

Not all Swift's were upgradeable. The easist way to check is to go into Task Manager, then click on Performance tab and then navigate on the left to Memory. Task manager should identify the type of RAM installed. If you see LPDDR under the type then this means your RAM is soldered onto the motherboard and can not be upgraded.

Can I upgrade the storage on my Acer Swift?

If your Acer Swift is upgradeable, then yes you can put in a larger SSD. The process is straight forward, we sell compatible SSD with a cloning kit. The SSD is shipped inside teh clone kit with instructions of software to use.

How do I identify my Swift model number?

Your Swift computer should have a serial number sticker on the bottom of the notebook. Your model series and number is printed above the serial number. If the sticker is removed or unreadable, then you can use the System Information app on your computer and look for System model.
