I am very happy with the results of the hard disk upgrade. The G550 Lenovo starts up a lot quicker and performance is good. I also on the odd chance brought an additional 4GB of RAM hoping that this might also help. While the additional RAM is recognized by the machine. Windows still only allocates 3 GB as usable RAM which is a pity but not a problem with the RAM but windows.
I will buy from them again.

Thank you for taking the time to send us a review. Unfortunately windows 32 bit version will only recognise 3GB in total. The Lenovo itself sees the extra RAM in the BIOS, but windows won't see it due to the restrictions of this 32 bit version. As discussed previously, we are more then happy to refund the 4gb module if you do not have any use for it. Please contact us accordingly if you would like to do that.
