Five year SSD warranty (3 year OWC Aura)
Unlike RAM, an SSD has limited write cycles, so it will eventually wear out. The Crucial MX500 is rated to last 360TB of write cycles. You would have to write 200GB every day for five years to wear it out! The new warranty for the MX500 SSD is five years. Our faulty SSD return policy is to make it as simple as possible for the customer. We will replace faulty drives as soon as they are returned. Please note older Crucial drives have a 3 year warranty and some OWC Aura SSD drives we sell have a 3 year warranty. The new Aura Pro X has a 5 year warranty.

When we started Upgradeable, we needed to assure customers our RAM would make a difference. What if the RAM upgrade did not speed up your computer? The answer is you can return the memory for a full refund. We chose 14 days because we thought that was a reasonable time frame. We have never refused a refund that has been a reasonable time past 14 days, such as 21 days or 30 days. If you are not happy with the RAM upgrade, we don't want to make your day worse by saying no to a refund. In fact, everything we list we stock, so if you dont want it, we restock it. This is a point in difference to most Kingston resellers. They don't stock the product, they are selling from someone else's warehouse. Which is why they don't like refunds.

You're not obliged because you're just selling the product, but you might consider having a brief conversation with your potential customers. Ask things like what they intend to do with the RAM. I found--after installing the stick--that my (partner's) laptop recognised it and displayed the increase from 4 to 8 Gb (Settings>Display>About) but wouldn't acknowledge it by increasing the 'usable' figure. Turns out--after some online research--that Windows will not acknowledge installed RAM in excess of 4 Gb in a 32-bit system. To make the new RAM usable, you have to upgrade to 64-bit. Would have helped me to have known that from the get-go. Just a suggestion. The product itself is fine.
