Is this upgrade compatible with my computer?

We guarantee our memory is 100% compatible with your computer. How can we make such a bold claim? It is combination of quality product, vast industry knowledge and experience and the Upgradeable system we built to help customers find an upgrade for their specific computer.

You may have noticed our website is different from any other. It is not your typical eCommerce web shop. We do not get a list of products and categorise them, making you do all the work = which is the best upgrade? Our website is a configurator. We have taken all guess work out of buying an upgrade. Our technicians and engineers match the right memory upgrade to every computer we list. We do this in a unique way, which is the Upgradeable secret sauce. Our history and experience is in designing and manufacturing of computer components. In fact, in 1990's we were the first company to make a third party memory module in Australia at The Research Park, Bond University in Queensland. We have condensed all that experience into a system that rates a components quality. If it meets Upgradeable's stringent quality guidelines, then we list it as an available upgrade. That is why we can offer a lifetime warranty, and fast delivery. Who loses if it is not compatible? We do because we pay for the shipping charges and you get a full refund or advanced replacement!

Our goal is to delivery the right upgrade the first time. Look at our reviews, they say we deliver on what we promise.

Apart from the 5 hours of cloning to my new SSD - the experience of purchasing from Upgradeable, their support and their excellent return policies is fantastic! I would highly recommend their products and services. I installed a 1 TB MX200 onto a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro and I now have Pro Tools running again. Happy Days! Purchasing and installing something for my computer was a daunting task as it is not something I do everyday. The process of attempting, failing, getting a refund and finally paying someone to do what I can't also seemed daunting. I originally sourced a Samsung EVO SSD locally and neither my Macbook Pro or Dell Laptop recognised it? I googled searched for answers and they said it could be a faulty connection to clone the SSD, compatibility issues or a faulty SSD. Then some mac experts said there was some coding I need to re write. It looked so much easier on Youtube! Either way I felt I overwhelmed so I returned the item which was checked out fully and I obtained a refund. I was lucky to not be charged with a service and restocking fee. I wanted to try again. I was convinced it was the connection between the SSD and my MacBook Pro not the EVO SSD. I did a search on the companies return policies just incase this happened again. Many supplier's return policies were quite off putting. One company charged a 20% re stocking fee plus a service fee if the item is deemed to be faulty from my actions. That's $100.00 on a $500.00 purchase just for the re stocking fee. I searched again for compatible SSD's for Mac and as always Upgradeable kept coming up. I read the compatibility statement for Crucial SSD's for mac and about the trim support. Very passionate response and I felt more confident to hear they all used Macs too. This had sold me part the way. Then I looked up Upgradeable's return policy's. No re stocking fee mentioned? Able to return within 14 days from the date on the receipt ? This sold me all the way. So I chose to order a 1TB MX200 SSD. Prior to this I had phoned Upgradeable many times with many (I'm sure annoying) questions. Every time - all staff members were happy to help. The Crucial SSD - not the most ascetically appealing by comparison to others on the market, slightly more expensive but it worked first time. I'm never going to look at it once its in my Mac. Apart from the 5 hours of cloning my SSD - the experience of purchasing from Upgradeable and their support was fantastic! Again I would highly recommend their products and services. Thanks to the team at Upgradeable, so far so good on the SSD performance. Pro Tools works quite well, Word and Excel are slow to save sometimes. Other than that its all good. It's been about a month. Lifetime Warranty

All RAM upgrades supplied by Upgradeable have a lifetime warranty.
Our definition of lifetime warranty is: If the product ceases to work at anytime, you can return it for a replacement. Simple. No if's, no but's. Our RAM will out last your computer. We have had the same warranty since year 2000. It has never varied or been modified. Our competitors have played catch up and matched our warranty but they can never match our service. We don't provide a lifetime warranty as a gimmick, it is a statement on the values of our company, our goal of exceptional customer service and the quality of the products we supply.

Five year SSD warranty (3 year OWC Aura)
Unlike RAM, an SSD has limited write cycles, so it will eventually wear out. The Crucial MX500 is rated to last 360TB of write cycles. You would have to write 200GB every day for five years to wear it out! The new warranty for the MX500 SSD is five years. Our faulty SSD return policy is to make it as simple as possible for the customer. We will replace faulty drives as soon as they are returned. Please note older Crucial drives have a 3 year warranty and some OWC Aura SSD drives we sell have a 3 year warranty. The new Aura Pro X has a 5 year warranty.

14 Day Money Back Guarantee
When we started Upgradeable, we needed to assure customers our RAM would make a difference. What if the RAM upgrade did not speed up your computer? The answer is you can return the memory for a full refund. We chose 14 days because we thought that was a reasonable time frame. We have never refused a refund that has been a reasonable time past 14 days, such as 21 days or 30 days. If you are not happy with the RAM upgrade, we don't want to make your day worse by saying no to a refund. In fact, everything we list we stock, so if you dont want it, we restock it. This is a point in difference to most Kingston resellers. They don't stock the product, they are selling from someone else's warehouse. Which is why they don't like refunds.

Our money back guarantee is about your assurance that the RAM will make a difference. If is not about how many days, it is about customer service and trust. We have had the same guarantees for 16 years because they are sustainable. We plan to be here servicing our customers for more than the next 16 years!
