1A. Look at the box



Boxed Intel® desktop boards indicate what board model it contains. Desktop board models usually starts with the letter "D".

1B. Look at the board itself.



A small barcode label is found on the Intel® Desktop Board. Desktop board models usually starts with the letter "D" as shown in the image below:

Note: Location of barcode label may vary for every board model as shown in the series of images below:






Barcode is near the chipset heatsink





Barcode is near the I/O ports





Barcode is near the memory slot

This method is recommended for boards that are assembled and in working condition.

Do the following:

1. On boot up, press F2

2. The BIOS screen will appear, select Main

3. Select Additional Information. Product Name field tells you the board model.
